IESCO is inviting applications for the position of Director General – Market Implementation & Regulatory Affairs (MI&RA). This is an executive-level post with major responsibilities in regulatory strategy, implementation oversight, and market coordination under NEPRA and federal guidelines.
Job Profile & Responsibilities
- Oversee market implementation plans and compliance strategies
- Coordinate regulatory reporting across relevant departments
- Engage with NEPRA, CPPA-G, and other market operators for policy execution
- Ensure alignment with Pakistan’s evolving power market model
- Lead internal working groups for reform and compliance planning
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Minimum 16 years (Bachelor’s/Master’s) in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or Law
- Experience: 15+ years in power sector, including 5 years at senior management level
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks, market operations, and strategic planning
- Age Limit: Up to 62 years
Compensation
IESCO offers a competitive market-based remuneration package aligned with experience and qualifications.
Tenure
- Initial contract: 3 years
- Extendable based on performance and organizational needs
