Position: Junior Management — Legal (Company Secretariat)
Ideal for legal professionals with corporate governance expertise
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with laws: Companies Act, SOE Act, Securities Act, Corporate Governance Code
- Draft/review agreements, policies, procedures, and governance frameworks
- Organize board meetings, AGMs, EOGMs; prepare minutes and documentation
- File statutory returns with SECP, PSX, and liaise with auditors/regulators
- Handle litigation, arbitration, and shareholder disputes
- Interpret legal aspects of board structure and related party transactions
- Advise on legal risk management, ethics, and compliance strategies
- Monitor regulatory developments and ensure timely disclosures
Requirements
- Education: Minimum 16 years (LLB) from HEC recognized university; LLM or Bar-at-law preferred
- Experience: 3–4 years with at least 1–2 in corporate law (listed company or law firm)
- Age: Preferably not more than 33 years as of August 10, 2025
- Skills: Deep understanding of regulatory compliance, governance, and stakeholder communication
