The National School of Public Policy (NSPP) announces its 4th Public Policy Conference, scheduled for 17–18 August 2026 in Lahore. The theme is “Rare Earth Minerals in Pakistan: Opportunities & Challenges” with the tagline “Rare by Nature, Strategic by Choice.”
Thematic Areas
- Geological potential of rare earth minerals in Pakistan — exploration techniques, mineralogy, and geochemistry.
- Technological advancements in rare earth mineral extraction.
- Environmental impact and sustainability — risks, waste management, and eco?friendly technologies.
- Policy and regulatory framework for REMs development — national policies and international cooperation.
