9th ITCN Asia 2009 from August 11

KARACHI, The 9th ITCN Asia 2009 will be held here at The Karachi Expo Centre from August 11th to 13th. This was officially announced by the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) on Saturday. The event is being organized by the PSEB and Ministry of Information Technology in collaboration with the local event management company the Ecommerce Gateway Pakistan.

ITCN Asia has been regarded as one of the Asia?s biggest international Information Technology and telecom shows.

PSEB further pointed out that ITCN Asia this year is designed to be a one-stop meeting place for exchange of trade links for the global and regional IT players. With decision makers from the businesses and government sectors participating in the show ITCN Asia is seen as a must event to attend.

Leading influential IT experts will be flying in from around the world at the show, the exhibition will also include a high-profile international conferences on Information Technology, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), multimedia and broadcasting, and an e-marketing workshop.

According to organizers, these conferences will provide an effective platform for the global industry?s professionals to exchange their knowledge of state-of-the-art research, development and applications in ICT with local players.

The speakers will highlight their respective fields? latest global developments and trends, and identify the immense potential available in Pakistan?s Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sector.

They will cover significant ICT issues related to international standards, Pakistan?s telecom industry, mobile communication technologies, IT outsourcing, Internet marketing, the role of telecom and IT in the banking sector, and the automation and computerization of organizations.

The ITCN Asia will be held at Expo center from 11th Aughust. Karachi Expo center is 20 minutes drive from central down town Karachi. and about 15 minutes from Karachi airport.
