University of the Punjab, Lahore has announced that all applicants seeking admission to undergraduate programs must appear in the PU Admission Test scheduled for Sunday, 14 June 2026.
Who Can Apply
- Students who have passed Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or equivalent (Grade 12).
- Students who have appeared in the final examination of HSSC or equivalent and are awaiting results.

The Admission Test carries a weightage of 25% in the total merit calculation. Last year’s test results are not valid for new admissions.
Marks Distribution & Test Centres
Detailed breakup of marks for each category is available at admissiontest.pu.edu.pk. Tests will be held in major cities across Pakistan.
How to Apply
- Register online at admissiontest.pu.edu.pk.
- Pay the non-refundable test fee of PKR 2500 via challan (available on the portal) at HBL, UBL, or through JazzCash/EasyPaisa.
- Upload proof of payment on the portal to complete registration.
- For Engineering programs, PU Admission Test is mandatory as per PEC regulations. ECAT (UET) or NUST Test scores are also acceptable.
- For LLB programs, both LAT and PU Admission Test are mandatory.
- For College of Art & Design, PU Admission Test plus Drawing Aptitude Test are required.
- For Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D), MDCAT or PU Admission Test is valid.
- Admission notices for all departments will be advertised separately in national dailies and on www.pu.edu.pk.
