Age Limits & Relaxation
General age limit: 18–25 years + 5 years relaxation.
Sons of Ex-Service Men: age extended by service years + 15 years (whichever is less).
Scheduled Castes/Buddhist Community & Sindh Rural: 3 years relaxation.
Government servants with 2+ years service: 10 years relaxation.
Sons of deceased civil servants: 5 years relaxation.
Domicile Eligibility
Candidates must belong to Karachi Division districts including: Karachi, Thatta, Tharparkar, Umerkot, Kotri, Jamshoro, Sanghar, Dadu, TandoAdam, Badin, Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Tando Muhammad Khan, Matiyari, Tando Allahyar.
Note: Certain areas in Sanghar and Dadu fall under Sukkur Division and are not eligible.
Recruitment Quota
Open Merit: 60%
Son of Railway employee (in service/retired/deceased): 20%
Ex-Service Man: 10%
Orphans (other than Railways): 05%
Minority: 05%
Documents Required
Verified copies of educational certificates/diplomas (Middle, Matric, FA, etc.).
National Identity Card (CNIC).
Domicile certificate.
Character certificate.
Three passport-size photographs.
Relationship certificate (if applying under Railway Employee quota).
Two postal envelopes with complete address and mobile number.
Application Submission
Attach postal order worth Rs. 550/- in the name of Divisional Personnel Officer, PR, Karachi.
Each envelope must contain only one application.
Applications must be sent via Registered DAK or courier to: Office of Divisional Superintendent, Pakistan Railways, Karachi, I.I. Chundrigarh Road, Karachi.
Applications addressed elsewhere will not be entertained.
