An independent public-sector entity operating within Pakistan’s power sector is seeking to appoint an experienced professional as Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO). The organization is mandated to ensure transparent, efficient, and reliable market and system operations, and this leadership role is central to its strategic and operational success.
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or Social Sciences from an HEC-recognized institution. Preference will be given to candidates with advanced degrees, international qualifications, or membership in professional HR organizations.
- Experience: At least 20 years of relevant post-qualification experience, including 3+ years in a senior executive leadership role reporting directly to the head or CEO of a large public or private sector organization.
- Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, conflict resolution, and leadership skills. Proven ability to work in teams, achieve management objectives, and maintain effective liaison with stakeholders.
- Compliance: Must meet the Fit and Proper Criteria prescribed in Schedule IV of the State-Owned Enterprises (Governance and Operations) Act, 2023.
Term and Compensation
- Contract Tenure: Initial appointment for 3 years, renewable based on performance under SOE Act, 2023 provisions.
- Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience.
