The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan announces the launch of the Access to Scientific Instrumentation Program (ASIP) for the academic year 2025–2026. This initiative aims to create a centralized national database of scientific instruments and analytical equipment available in public sector universities and research & development (R&D) organizations across Pakistan.
The ASIP program is designed to facilitate PhD scholars, researchers, and faculty members by providing access to HEC-funded laboratories equipped with advanced scientific instrumentation. This effort supports equitable utilization of research infrastructure and promotes collaboration among academic institutions.
Call for Focal Persons and Laboratory Data Submission
HEC invites all eligible institutions to nominate a Laboratory Focal Person and submit detailed data regarding their scientific equipment. Only equipment purchased through HEC funding is eligible for inclusion in the ASIP database.
