HEC Undergraduate Studies Admission Test (USAT) 2025

Admission Test for Undergraduate Programs in Pakistani Universities

Eligibility Criteria

• Students who have passed HSSC or equivalent (12 years education)
• Students who have appeared in final HSSC exams and are awaiting results

USAT Categories

USAT scores are valid for one year and may be used for HEC undergraduate scholarships and university admissions, subject to institutional policies.

Important Dates

• Last Date for Online Registration: Tuesday, September 9, 2025
• Test Date: Sunday, September 28, 2025

Application Process

1. Visit etc.hec.gov.pk for online registration
2. Create profile using “My Profile” section
3. Submit application via “Undergraduate Studies Admission Test” link
4. Only submitted applications will be considered; saved/incomplete forms will be rejected
5. Send fee deposit proof via email to etc@hec.gov.pk
6. Test fee: Rs. 1,500/- (non-refundable, non-transferable)

Test Day Instructions

• Roll number slips will be emailed one week before the test
• Report one hour before test time
• Bring original CNIC, roll number slip with photo, and stationery (pen, pencil, eraser, sharpener)
• Electronic devices (mobile phones, calculators, etc.) are strictly prohibited
• Follow COVID-19 SOPs: wear a mask, bring sanitizer and water bottle, maintain social distancing
• Remove mask briefly for identification at entry
• Use of unfair means or disruptive behavior will result in disqualification

Note

• Applicants using CNICs of others (parents, siblings, etc.) are not allowed to sit in the test
• Fee must be paid via HBL online payment using the generated consumer number
• Mobile collection facility will not be available at test centers
