Mohammad Anwaar is an artist who makes dyes for block printing at his small shop in rang Mahal area of Lahore. He makes about Rs. 500 per day and is proud of his work. Dye making with hand is disappearing so are the artists . There are only few shops still remaining Lahore Karachi & Peshawar. Artists like Mohammad Anwaar now also make wooden handicrafts to keep both their lives and the traditional work of block printing alive.
