Pakistan China Border at Khunjerab Pass opened for trade and passengers

The Pakistan China border has been re-opened and is now being used for trafic. The border was closed for last 5 months due to heavy snowfall at the Khunjrav Pass.
Tourists can now travel from Taxkorgan to Sost via Khunjerab pass and from there take transport to Hunza Lake and board on ferry boat to the other side of the lake at Gulmit and drive to Karimabad Hunza.
Opening of the border is likely to partially finish the isolation of Gojal Valley also as the shortage of food and other utilities will be fulfilled by the trade trafic from China.
