ISLAMABAD, Aug 10 2009: SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SAARC CCI), in collaboration with Economic Freedom Network Pakistan will organize a two-day seminar on ? SAARC Governments? Commitment to Economic Freedom in South Asia? on August 11. The Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) and Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) are the co-sponsores of the event.
Federal Minister for Industries and Production, Mian Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo will be the chief gust, while Sharat Sabharwal, Indian High Commissioner to Pakistan, Sultan Ahmed Chawla, President FPCCI and Zubair Ahmed Malik will also address the session.
Chairperson, National Assambly Standing Committee on Finance and Revenue Ms. Fouzia Wahab and prominent academicians like Dr. Sirimal Abeyrathne, Senior lecturers Economic Affairs, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka and Dr. Abdul Qayyum Suleri, Director, Sustainable Development Policy Institute, Pakistan will also address the seminar.
The second day of the seminar is likely to be inaugurated by Minister of State for Economic Affairs, Hina Rabbani Khar.
