Peacock in Pakistani society has always been a symbol of beauty, luck and holiness. There are traditional dances which depict the dance of peacock. Peacocks are found in the south eastern desert of Pakistan as well as in the Cholistan desert of Punjab.
Peacocks are also kept as pets and are thought to be sign of pride for affeluent people. This picture is from Faisalabad where a peacock is dancing infront of his masters house.
