Nickel Plating is a traditional workmenship in Pakistan. Nickle platers or polishers usually used to roam all over the country village to village town to town and people used to get their copper and bronze pots polished with nickel.
These days Nickel Polishers are becoming exctinct as the copper and bronze pots are not being used any more in homes. The only thing to polish remains is a type of cauldron known as Deg, (Daig or Degh) it is a large pot made of copper and used for cooking food at large scale eg: marriges of traditional restaurants.

Nickel is melted and than coated with help of a cotton cloth.
