Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan through its Education Testing Council (ETC) has announced the Undergraduate Studies Admission Test (USAT)?2026 for students seeking admission in undergraduate programs at recognized universities across Pakistan.
Who Can Apply for USAT?
- Students who have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or equivalent (12?years of education).
- Students who have appeared in the final HSSC or equivalent examinations and are awaiting results.

Applicants may register in any category according to their academic stream and university admission requirements.

For Universities
Universities will give weightage to the USAT score as per their admission policy while preparing merit lists. Students applying to universities that accept USAT must submit their ETC Score?Card for inclusion in merit determination.
How to Apply
- Apply online through the ETC portal.
- Select the test category carefully; it cannot be changed later.
- Provide correct CNIC, mobile number, and email address before submission.
- Deposit the test fee via 1Link/1Bill?Invoice and verify payment on the ETC dashboard.
- Download your Roll?Number?Slip from the portal or via email one?week before the test.
Fee Details
- Test fee is payable through 1Link/1Bill?Invoice using the generated consumer number.
- After payment, verify the transaction on the ETC?Dashboard before submitting your application.
- Keep the original bank receipt for record and attach a scanned copy when required.
Test?Day Instructions
- Candidates must bring their Roll?Number?Slip and original CNIC to the test center.
- Electronic devices, calculators, smart watches, and mobile phones are strictly prohibited.
- Arrive at the center at least 30?minutes before the test begins.
- Any discrepancy between CNIC and application data will result in disqualification.
- Registered candidates will receive test center details via email and SMS.
- ETC will conduct the test in major cities; centers will be allotted on a first?come, first?served basis.
