The British newspaper ‘Financial Times’ has released a list of the world’s 50 best tourist destinations for tourism this year. The Financial Times has included Pakistan’s ‘Gilgit-Baltistan’ in the said list.

The British newspaper wrote that Gilgit-Baltistan has some of the most spectacular mountain scenery in the world, and tourists are flocking here due to improved security, easy access, and better accommodation facilities.

According to the Financial Times, Pakistan provided online visa facilities for citizens of more than 120 countries in August last year, and now the number of flights to Skardu is also increasing.

The British newspaper also reported that 14-day group tours are also being launched in Gilgit-Baltistan. These tours provide an opportunity to see the culture, history and beautiful scenery of the region and include 6 days of trekking.

It should be noted that earlier this month, the American broadcaster CNN also included Gilgit-Baltistan in the list of the world’s 25 best destinations for tourism this year.
