Heer Ranjha’s legend is definetly heard by every one who lives in Pakistan or India. This legend of Punjab became a popular epic and was subject of love in different folk & sufi poetry just like Laila Majnoon of Arabia. This legend also remained a subject of popular litrature but the way Sufi Poet Waris Shah composed this legend is unmatched.
