President Zardari approves Finance Bill 2009

Jun 30 (APP): President Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday assented to the Finance Bill 2009 passed by the National Assembly on June 25.Spokesperson to the President former Senator Farhatullah Babar said that the President signed the bill after receiving the advice of the Prime Minister. ?The President?s assent today gives effect to the financial proposals of the federal government for the year beginning Wednesday July 1, 2009,? the spokesman said.
