Posted on May 26, 2017 By Jamal Panhwar No Comments on Jabl e Nor ul Quraan Quetta place to preserve Quraan

Quraan is the divine book of Allah which deserves protection. Quraan is probably the most widely read book in the world. However dure to course of time and mishandling many copies of Quraan become unusable and are left un read and un attended. Such copies are either burned or thrown in the ocean out of respect. However in Balouchistan Pakistan some men have developed a unique idea to preserve such Qurans.

They have created a special mountain caves in the south of Quetta to preserve the old manuscripts of Quraan and also the unreadable damaged copies. This work began in 1992 and 125 cave or tunnels have been built to do the job.

There are hundreds of thousands damaged Quraans kept in these caves. People are bringing heaps of Quraans here from Quetta and other parts of Pakistan. This place has not only become a reservoir of the damaged Quraans but has also become a touristic place. Many visitors come here from different areas of the country and pay their respects to the holy book of Allah.
