TROPHY HUNTING OF URIAL IN PUNJAB* PAKISTAN

1st December to 15th March

The Punjab Wildlife & Parks Department, Lahore, Pakistan, announces Urial trophy hunting permits for 2011-2012.

Distribution of trophies is as under:

I. Salt Range – (Chakwal and Jhelum Districts) 8 Nos.

Tour operators/ Bidders/ Outfitters are invited to offer their sealed bids in the name of Director General, Wildlife & Parks, Punjab, Lahore. The bids will be received on 15.12.2011 upto 2:00 pm and will be opened on the same day in the presence of bidders or their representatives at 2:30 pm. After completing codal formalities the respective successful bidders will be notified and communicated within 3 days through Fax or E-mail. Successful Bidders/Outfitters will be required to confirm their acceptance of Trophy Hunting offers by depositing the bid money with the Punjab Wildlife & Parks Department. In case bids are not received on 15.12.2011 then the bids will be received on 20.12.2011 till 2:00 pm and will beopendat2:30 pm.

Terms & conditions for Trophy Hunting will be:

The offer shall be made in US Dollars. Successful Bidders/ Tour operators/ Outfitters shall deposit the bid amount in the official account (HBL Account No.1787-00145377-03, Riwaz Garden Branch, Lahore) of the Department in cash and original bank receipt shall be enclosed with the bid No bank draft or any other shape of payment shall be acceptable. Minimum price for one urial trophy will be US $ 16000.

Prescribed Gun Shooting Licence fee of US $ 500 will be charged in addition to the Trophy hunting Permit Fee.

US $ 8000 shall be deposited in the above mentioned Bank Account as earnest money in favour of Director General, Wildlife & Parks, Punjab and Bank receipt shall be annexed with the bid offer.

Hunting will be permissible only in community managed areas specified in permit. The extension in the permits will not be granted beyond 15th March. In the event of Tie, bidders will be called for negotiations. The bidders will quote in their bids the number of trophies, applied for; One chance will be provided for each trophy and hunter will be required to complete his hunt in specified period of consecutive seven days. Trophy will be removed from hunting area on the same day of hunt.

10.?? ?No injuries or hunting other than Trophy Urial will be allowed in the hunting area. In case of injuries/death of animals, penalty of US $600 will be levied upon hunter.

11.?? ?The hunters will be required to apply for separate licence for possession of trophy or export permit whatever the case may be:- Possession fee will be Charged @ US $ 100, whereas Export fee will be US $ 200.

12.?? ?CITES export permit will be issued by the concerned Ministry, Government of Pakistan for hunted trophies on recommendation of Punjab Wildlife & Parks Department.

13.?? ?The hunters will strictly bound to observe hunting period and any relaxation in hunting period will not be allowed in any case.

14.?? ?The Director General, Wildlife & Parks, Punjab reserves the right to reject any one or all the bids without assigning any reason. The decision of Director General, Wildlife & Parks Punjab will befinal and will not be challenged atany forum or in any court of Law.

    hi
    am from nepal and love to hunt , ive got 12 gauge and a .22 wmr magnum , i dont think i can take my arms out of the country but would like to know if i can hunt and pay the damages in pakistan with your rifles , pls advice as hunting is my passion and we are not allowed in our country
