Yesterda?s attack on Mina bazaar Peshawar has shaken my nerves. This was the area where I used to walk with tourists for hours and shopkeepers used to offer us tea or give us place to sit take pictures.
While walking in Kissa Khawani Bazaar I always used to make sure I enter into this brigtly lit colorful bazaar. The wedding and party dreses yoused to facinate the foreigners and we used to talk about marriages in Pakistan and also a bit abour Afghan Marriages here.
Some of he women in the tourist group used to even buy one or two dreses to get them made in 24 hours in Peshawar. Just after the Meena bazaar is a line of Tea Leaves shops where there used to be a que of people trying to buy Tea.
Having foreigners with me I alsway used to break the line and shopkeeper would give me several packs of tea and very quickly we would move on.
The vendors would pose for picture in every corner and there would be nothing but smiles and laughters in the bazaars. We will move on to Saraf Bazaar and the jewlry market and come to The Mohabat Khan mosque. The whole walk in the Kissa Khawani bazaar to Mohabat Khan mosque and backside of Balahisar fort was always highlite of any tour of Pakistan.
Yesterday?s bomb blast shook my nerves as I had been walking in that area for nearly 18 years now. It is heartbreaking to see the heritage and the innocent people. The bombers are unknow what a misery a country can have where such things happen and has no clue who did it. A friend of mine always blames it on ISI I wonder why on earth would, ISI do this
it was a beautiful area in peshawar.i never came to this place but i have heard a lot of about it
