Swat Valley returning to normal tourists arrival begins

At a time when thousands of people of Swat are displaced from their houmes and some are returning to dificult conditions and to begin new life, some tourists from Sindh & Punjab province of Pakistan have started to visit the heavenly valley of Swat.

swatBBC’s reporter from Swat?valley has reported that there are several families from Karachi Faisalabad & Lahore visiting Kalam of Swat vally are are having great time contrary to what media has been bitching about.

According to the tourists among whome was one Mr. Arshad Hussain the things are not as bad as shown on TV. We are enjoying our holidays and are very confortable here” Said Arshad who is accompanied with his wife and daughter in Kalam.

Hotel Assosciation of Kalam said that about 9 hotels have re-opened in Kalam after seeing the influx of people from other parts of the country. Kalam had about 300 hotels many hotels have already started cleaning their buildings are looking forward to good times again although the holiday season is near to its end but they still expect people to come.

According to rough estimates due to the troubles in the Swat Valley tourism industry has lost business of about 10 Billion rupees.

Swat Valley of Pakistan is compared with alps of Switzerland and Italy
