The Indian Security agencies, Mumbai Police and the Army had a very poor show during these attacks. The attacks started at about 9:20 p.m. Wednesday the gun men were shooting freely there was no police no security agencies trying to stop them at Chhatrapati Shivaji rail station. The station is one of the busiest station in the world yet there was no security it is hard to believe that fact.
The gun met ride motorbikes without any resistance and go to Taj where there is usually a thorough checking of the luggage and people at entrance, how did these guy go in with their guns. This simply means security in India is just a? show off there is no one safe there.
Next hour attacks occur at four other locations: the Nariman House, home of the ultraorthodox Jewish outreach group Chabad Lubavitch; Leopold’s restaurant, a landmark popular with foreigners; the Oberoi hotel, a five star hotel; the Taj Mahal Palace and Tower hotel, all very secure and supposedly safe places where there is ample security. What did all this security do?
At 10:50 p.m. shooting breaks out near Times of India newspaper offices in southern part of the city I guess to wake the media up that they need to cover the story, and than they attacked near the Bombay Municipal Corporation again it is supposed to be secure place with a lot of police men deployed, then the gunmen went to the Cama hospital in southern Mumbai and the GT hospital in the city center still there is no resistance. The Army Police and security agencies all are still sleeping.
The story is being presented in flying colors in Indian news channels while other channels are showing all sorts of dramas films and jokes there is no sign of any trouble on these other channels they have no concern with what ever is going on in their very own city of Bollywood.
Just after midnight gunman attack the Vidhan Sabha, the legislative assembly, the lower house of state legislature in India still the security was not alarmed enough to safeguard the Vidhan Sabha that?s indeen an efficient India.
Around 3 a.m. Thursday, large fire breaks out at the Taj hotel and an hour later 4:00 AM authorities begin escorting people out of the Taj hotel. The media is still promoting their happiness and Joy and glamour of Bombay on non-news channels while the news channels are trying very hard to link up the mater with Pakistan.
At 9:15 a.m. Indian security forces are brought in to try to retake the Taj Mahal Palace hotel and the Oberoi hotel. That was very quick I guess they woke up just in the morning and were flown here to rescue yet they were not able to go inside and kill the few gun men. The gun men supposedly had small travel bags hoch explosive how many rounds of bullets would they have that they continued for so long.
About 10:30 a.m., members of the National Security Guard start doing room-to-room searches at the Taj hotel and declared that taj was free from the terrorists yet there were people hostage inside and so was explosives and the gunment
Next hour the National Security surround the Nariman House and local media shows people being rescued from the Oberoi hotel also they left people at Oberoi burning while they thought they were clearing Taj. When they went to Oberoi leaving Taj to terrorists there were explosions and killings still going on in Taj what a shameful way of handling the mater? Were they helping terrorists or were they trying to rescue the innocent people?.
All this drama went on for 60 long hours where did the terrorist get their energy from or were they being helped by the security agencies with Pizzas and food, they can perform that action on mere dry fruit. They guests were locked without food they could see nothing all they knew was that they were locked and were being either held by security agencies or by the terrorists. Interestingly people can only recall few terrorists who blown every thing up with tiny grenades and guns 4 buildings and an Army of 100s of security agencies were not able to tackle it.
On Friday slammed the government and intelligence agencies for failing to prevent the Mumbai attacks, saying the country?s anti-terrorism forces were ill-prepared to deal with the militants. The media only realized it now when every thing was burned to ashes.
?Mumbai Maimed, Nation Shamed? read the banner headline in the Mail, which said the country?s intelligence agencies ?had no clue of the impending attack? despite spending huge amounts of money on anti-terror measures. They still DIDN?T quite say what they were absent from the railway station or why were they late and why were they afraid of going inside despite they had bullet proof jackets.
When you look at the pictures the people defending are like common people wearing normal common men clothes so it would be hard to understand who is terrorist and who is defender.
The India security agencies must be well prepared for this kind of attack because it was after all done by some young men and they did all the mess only because of the in efficiency of the security other wise if they were stopped right at the railway terminal story would not have been so sad and they would not have the reason to blame Pakistan. I guess this in-efficiency was merely because they wanted to create a drama to blame Pakistan.
Pakistan has had worst of such incidents like the recent Marriott Bombing but after the attack in minutes the security was brought into action and things were brought to normal. There was no drama there was no Happiness or Joy on Pakistani channels and there was no excitement to blame India for what went on in Pakistan.
The people who write travel advisories against Pakistan must now realize that India is one of the most unsafe countries in the world where the security takes hours and days to come to rescue and they only do things in a meager fashion that They rescue one while they let the other burn to ashes.
